Why are you called Brookline Oriental Rug, when you are located in Needham?
In 1915, family members opened their first location on Beacon Street in Brookline. Our location was a smaller store, in which beautiful and unique rugs were sold on the first floor and rugs were washed on the lower level. In the 1930's there was a need for much more space and after some searching, we acquired the former Saxony Knitting Mill in Needham (our current location). We operated in both locations until 1972. In 1973, all operations were consolidated to our current location on Hunnewell Street in Needham.
Under the watchful eyes of our 4th generation, we continue to deliver high quality rugs and unsurpassed rug cleaning to all of our clients throughout New England and beyond.
It is our goal to provide our clients with the highest quality rugs at the best possible value. We also strive to have your rugs sparkling clean using both traditional and innovative cleaning methods, while being mindful of the impact on our environment.
